Entertainment in hotels and restaurants - namely bands, DJs, dancers and live performers - was temporarily suspended from Thursday January 21, with no firm date stated for its return. The ban was imposed by Dubai Government’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing after it issued more than 200 violation notices for non-compliance with COVID-19 guidelines over a three-week period. And now Dubai Maritime City Authority has prohibited the same activities on the waves until further notice.
