Sindika Dokolo, husband of Africa's richest woman Isabel dos Santos dies in Dubai

Sindika Dokolo, 48, married Isabel dos Santos in 2002 after they met as students at King's College in London. Their wedding in Angola - where 70 per cent of residents live below the breadline - cost £2.5 million.
The Congolese businessman and art collector was an experienced driver but could not be revived after getting into trouble on Thursday, The Times reported. Cedric Mala, a friend, told the newspaper: 'Unfortunately the last outing was fatal. The doctors tried to resuscitate him without success.'
Mrs dos Santos posted a photograph with her husband and one of their three children on the day of his death. It was captioned: 'My love...' Art was Mr Dokolo's passion, according to his family.
He was the son of the founder of the Democratic Republic of Congo's Bank of Kinshasa.

Photos: Hollywood icon Jeff Bridges battles cancer

Screen icon Jeff Bridges is doing a lot of thinking and a lot of writing as he battles cancer.
And the Dude is worried about the trees, man.
Earlier this month, the ‘Big Lebowski’ star shared that he was diagnosed with lymphoma, is starting treatment and that his prognosis is good.
On Thursday, he also made good on a promise to keep fans updated on his progress.
“This cancer thing is bringing on feelings of preciousness, & gratitude, & good old fashion love, & lots of it, big time,” the 70-year-old wrote Thursday in a hand-written note posted on his website. “I’m feeling so much of it comin’ my way, and man, I appreciate it. It’s contagious, all this love, like some kind of positive virus,” the ‘Crazy Heart’ and ‘True Grit’ star wrote.
“This cancer is making me appreciate my mortality, appreciate impermanence,” he said, adding that he’s realising that he has “[expletive] to share” and “now’s the time.” (That’s where the trees come in, folks.) Bridges jotted down the first batch of issues he wants “to shine a light on” in a hand-written list that was sometimes illustrated with doodles.
Here’s what it said: “We need you.” “Don’t you love where we live?” “All in this together.” And, “Trees, man gotta take care of our trees they’re us.” (See for yourself.)
The actor is “lookin’ to be in partnership” with his fans “in creating a beautiful life and world for all of us,” he wrote.
Elsewhere on the site, he shared a video of his band, the Abiders, performing the song ‘Welcome Mat’ and plugged his children’s book, ‘Daddy Daughter Day.’
He also promoted the hunger-combatting programmes No Kid Hungry and the Edible Schoolyard Project on the site, among other “stuff.”

Photos: Yikes, it's like Kim Kardashian has 6 toes in 1 of her feet!

Kim Kardashian's 'six toe' rumours resurfaced in a snap taken during the star's controversial 40th birthday getaway last week.
In the photo posted to her Instagram on Tuesday, Kim can be seen strutting down an outdoor pathway with her BFF La La Anthony, 39. The KKW Beauty founder happened to be wearing a pair of flip flops in the photo that put the faux toe on full display. Many of the comments left on Twitter and Instagram served the purpose of finding out just how many others 'noticed she [had] six toes' in the picture. 'WHY IS KIM HAVING SIX TOES IN ONE OF THESE PICS NOT TRENDING,' wrote one Twitter user, who was clearly in shock over the matter.

Kim responded: In the videos, shared on September 9, Kardashian called the theory she has an extra toe 'really wild.' 'Everyone thinks that I have six toes, and it's really wild,' she said while filming her foot. After counting her toes, noting there are only five, she pointed out it is part of the side and bottom of her foot that when pushed down in an open toed shoe can look like an extra foot digit. 'But it's this, part of my foot, that when I wear a shoe just like this it like smashes down right here and in a picture,' Kim said. 'I don't know why, it looks like a sixth toe.' She captioned the video, 'very baffling.'

Photos: The fabulously wealthy 2nd son of the Sultan of Brunei, Prince Azim dies at 38

Prince Azim, the son of the Sultan of Brunei who was fourth in line to the country’s throne, has died.
He was 38.
According to People:
Brunei’s government confirmed that Prince Azim died on Saturday morning, and he was laid to rest at the Royal Mausoleum in the capital of Bandar Seri Begawan. Palace officials also declared a seven-day period of national mourning with flags being flown at half-mast.
Although officials did not disclose his cause of death, local media reports said the prince had been in hospital “for quite some time,” according to Vice. Educated at the International School Brunei, Raffles Institution in Singapore and Oxford Brookes University in the U.K., Prince Azim was sent to attend officer training course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2008.
However, he dropped out after one week, according to The Times. Instead, the royal made a name for himself in Hollywood, becoming a film producer — credits include the 2014 drama You’re Not You starring Hillary Swank and the 2018 film The Happy Prince featuring Colin Firth and Rupert Everett. He was frequently spotted with celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Pamela Anderson and Joan Collins. Asian leaders offered their condolences.
On behalf of the Malaysian government, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said in a statement shared on Facebook: “May his soul be blessed by Allah and placed among the righteous,” he said.
Singapore’s president Halimah Yacob remembered the prince for his generosity in a public letter, saying, “He will be remembered for his passion for the arts and kindness to the needy.”
Meanwhile, Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong said Prince Azim “was known for his kind and generous spirit, and for his dedication to charitable, educational, and youth causes.”
Prince Azim was quite the socialite.
We remember the headlines when he paid Michael Jackson $10 million to attend his 25th birthday party in England.
Not to sing — just to attend.
May his soul RIP.
