‘I Still Get Lonely’; 47-Year-Old Woman Says After Undergoing Cosmetic Surgery

A mother-of-one has spent over £25,000 on plastic surgery to become the UK’s oldest Barbie and is yet to find love. Rachel Evans, from South East London, has spent over £25,000 on surgery in 17-years in a bid to be the UK’s oldest Barbie, aged 47.However, despite her best efforts to look like the doll, Rachel explains that she still hasn’t been able to find her Ken.

And although she has had her heart-broken by her dream man before, Rachel is still on the search for the classic Ken type – plastic, with a six-pack yet still intelligent.

Rachel said: ‘During my transition into Barbie, I realised that I had to love myself before I would be able to love anyone. ‘So now that I have finally become confident in myself I’ve realised it’s time for me to find Ken, to complete my Barbie journey.

‘I’ve had my heart broken by people I’ve thought were Ken before – but the fact I’m not with them now shows they’re not the one. ‘Despite all of the glamour, I get lonely, and that’s part of the reason I want my dream Ken. ‘But also I’m not going to settle for anyone or lower my standards when I want my dream Ken and he has to be perfect.’

Rachel has been single for six years having separated from her fiancé after a whirlwind relationship that started in 2012 and lasted 15 months.

She admits that her ex was not supportive of her Barbie obsession.

Since making this decision Rachel has spent a total of £25,000 on numerous cosmetic procedures.

However despite spending such a large sum to perfect her look, Rachel suggests that she will continue to top up her surgery forever.

Presidency to Danjuma: Your self-defence call shocking, scary

The Presidency on Saturday said the recent call made by a former Minister of Defence, Lt.-Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (retd.), that Nigerians should not rely on security agencies but defend themselves in the face of killings across the country as shocking and scary.

It said unrestrained pronouncements were capable of encouraging criminal gangs to defy legal governing and democratic institutions.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba, Shehu, said these in a statement made available to journalists.

Shehu urged prominent Nigerians to use their national influence wisely and shun public declarations that are capable of threatening national security.

He also advised former leaders to take advantage of the various fora where they can advise the government on security matters without resorting to the exploitation of emotional sentiments.

Shehu wondered if any country can survive if its citizens rise against its military.

He said Nigerians must be careful to avoid the mess that destroyed other African countries like Somalia.

Despite Danjuma’s verdict on the armed forces however, the presidential aide commended the Nigerian military’s efforts to maintain peace and stability, “despite being pulled in various directions by elements determined to destabilise the country and government for their selfish reasons.”

The statement read, “The Presidency wishes to appeal to prominent Nigerians, who have national influence, to use their influence wisely and not continue to engage in public declarations that are likely to inflame emotional passions and threaten National Security.

“The Presidency is very worried that criminal gangs will feel justified in defying legal governing and democratic institutions, and authority of legitimately elected democratic government if unrestrained pronouncements are made.

“Silence can be dignified, but sometimes it can be misinterpreted and exploited. It is both shocking and scary to hear the recent comments by a senior citizen calling for Nigerians to defend themselves.

“The Presidency commends the Nigerian military’s efforts to maintain peace and stability, despite being pulled in various directions by elements determined to destabilise the country and government for their selfish reasons.

“What country would survive if its citizens rise against the country’s organised, trained and equipped military?

“We advise former leaders to take advantage of the various fora where people with a history of national security can offer advice to the government without resorting to the exploitation of emotional sentiments.

“The civil war motto: ‘To keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done’ rings very timely at this time in our nation’s history. We must be careful to avoid the mess that destroyed other African countries like Somalia.”

The reaction came exactly one week after Danjuma last Saturday while speaking at the maiden convocation of the Taraba State University, Jalingo, and the 10th anniversary of the institution told Nigerians to defend themselves against killers in the country, saying  the armed forces were not ready to defend them.

The former Chief of Army Staff had stated, “I am not a politician and politics is one profession I don’t want to belong to because if I am a politician, I will not say what I am going to say to you now.

“When I arrived in this arena, I saw rich cultural display and I was amazed at the rich cultural heritage of our people. Taraba is a mini Nigeria with diverse ethnic groups living together peacefully, but the peace in this state is under assault.

“There is an attempt at ethnic cleansing in the state and of course, some rural states in Nigeria. We must resist it. We must stop it. Every one of us must rise up.

“Our Armed Forces are not neutral. They collude with the bandits to kill people, kill Nigerians. The Armed Forces guide their movements; they cover them. If you are depending on the Armed Forces to stop the killings, you will all die one by one.

“This ethnic cleansing must stop in Taraba State and other rural states of Nigeria otherwise Somalia will be a child’s play.

“I ask every one of you to be alert and defend your country, defend your territory and defend your state. Defend yourselves because you have no other place to go. God bless our country.”

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, and other individuals have since supported Danjuma’s call.

Nigerian actor accuses film producers of racial discrimination in payment

Nigerian actor accuses film producers of racial discrimination in payment Lailasnews

Nigerian actor Samuel Abiola Robinson, who starred in the recent Malayalam film Sudani has accused the producers of the film of paying him a much lesser amount than the Indian actors, attributing it to racial discrimination.

Terming it as racial discrimination, the actor said in a Facebook post. He wrote;

Hello everyone, i would like to shed light on a particular subject.

Actually the truth is that i did experience Racial discrimination from producers in Kerala… I didn’t want to say anything before because i was trying to be patient but now I am ready to speak up.

I’m saying this now because i cannot sit back and allow it happen to another helpless young black actor.
I believe that i was a victim of racial discrimination while in Kerala. It was nothing violent or directly in my face but for my role in Sudani from Nigeria, the producers offered me far less money than Indian actors who are not half as popular or accomplished as i am would normally earn. I only became better enlightened after meeting with several young actors and discussing payment with them. I am of the opinion that this happened purely because of my skin color and the assumption that all africans are poor and don’t know the value of money. The director and writer Zakariya did his best to help but as he was not financing the movie himself, there was very little change he could foster. Zakariya is a good guy with a good heart and a brilliant director. Promises were made to me by the producers while shooting to pay me more if the movie eventually becomes successful but no promise has been honoured and now i am back in Nigeria. I believe the promises were simply tools of Manipulation to get me to eagerly commit the 5 months of availability for work being October, November, December 2017, January and March 2018 for the shoot and promotion of the movie. The movie is a huge commercial success now and i am grateful for all the love that the fans have shown me and i have been privileged to experience the warm culture of Kerala but i can no longer suffer in silence about this. As i am black, it is my responsibility to speak up because it could ease the suffering of the next generation of black actors. Say no to racial or caste discrimination.
Samuel Abiola Robinson.

Arnold Schwarzenegger in stable condition after heart surgery

Arnold Schwarzenegger in stable condition after heart surgery Lailasnews

Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger first words after undergoing heart surgery were “I’m back”. The 70-year-old actor is recovering and in a stable condition following the medical procedure in Los Angeles on Thursday.

His spokesman said the star made the jokey remark in a twist to his well-known “I’ll be back” catchphrase after waking up from the operation.

Daniel Ketchell said Schwarzenegger “is awake and his first words were actually ‘I’m back'”. Schwarzenegger had heart surgery to replace a valve that was originally replaced 20 years ago.

Ketchell said the original replacement pulmonic valve had outlasted its life expectancy. So the former California governor chose to have a less-invasive catheter valve replacement procedure.

The veteran action star went in for surgery in 1997 to replace an aortic valve. According to the American Heart Association, the valve closes off the lower left chamber of the heart that holds the oxygen-rich blood before it is pumped out to the body, and it opens to allow blood to leave the heart.

Earlier this week, the former California governor spoke to CNN about the changes in the Republican party, noting that its lack of diversity and ability to reach across the aisle are leading to decreased numbers.

“Since then the party has decreased and now has only a 26 percent popularity overall and so it is dying and I see it like the Titanic,” he said. “The only thing is that we don’t have to go under completely. We don’t have to wait for that moment. Let’s change and let’s go and be more open and go back to this kind of like big tent idea of Ronald Reagan.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been an occasional critic of the Trump administration and has a unique tie to the president as he took over for him after NBC’s brief revival of “Celebrity Apprentice.” In 2016 Arnold Schwarzenegger opened up about his past heart surgery in an interview with Graham Bensinger.

Heroic schoolboys grab suicidal man, refuse to let him jump off bridge

Heroic schoolboys grab suicidal man refuse to let him jump off bridge Lailasnews

Three heroic schoolchildren aged 12, 13 and 14 saved a man who had a rope around his neck and was trying to jump off of a bridge. The boys were on their way back from school at the time and they saved the man’s life while he stood on the edge of an A10 overpass in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.

Devonte Cafferkey, 13, and Sammy Farah, 14, rushed to grab the man and persuade him not jump while their friend Shawn Young, who was 12 at the time, called for help.

The boys are now set to be presented with national awards.

While they tried to stop the man jumping and talk him out of suicide, he passed the boys his mobile phone saying ‘if it rings, don’t answer it’.

The boys later appeared on This Morning and spoke about the incident with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

On the show, Devonte Cafferkey said:

‘Yeah we were the first to arrive. We were persuading him not to jump. He was crying and wiping his eyes. We said, “You’ve got family and stuff, it’s not worth it”.’

The boys were also helped by 47-year-old Joanne Stammers, who is registered disabled with Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome, a rare disability that makes her highly prone to blood clotting.

Despite her condition, which prevents her from working, Joanne took over from the boys and held onto the man ‘for what feels like forever’.

She was left with bruising all over her arms.

Another man, James Higlett, also helped to save the man’s life.

All five will receive awards from the Royal Humane Society, a charity promoting life-saving intervention.

12-year-old Shawn’s mother, Carol, was amazed at the boys’ maturity and said they have ‘just got on with it’ since their brave rescue.

She said:

‘I am extremely proud of all three of them, they are all good boys and it’s nice that they are getting recognised for doing something good in the community.

‘Quite often in the national news there are a lot of negative reports about young people so it is nice to have something positive’.

Man who raped and butchered 11 girls for wearing red sentenced to death

Man who raped and butchered 11 girls for wearing red sentenced to death Lailasnews

A Serial killer in China dubbed ‘Jack the Ripper’ has been sentenced to death for the rape and murder of 11 women and children. Gao Chengyong, 54, was likened to the infamous London murderer due to the way he mutilated the bodies of his victims, often cutting their breasts, reproductive organs, ears and hands off.

He was found guilty by the Baiyin City Intermediate People’s Court and handed death sentences for both robbery and intentional homicide, and lesser sentences for rape and dishonouring corpses.

Gao targeted young women wearing red and followed them home, often cutting their throats and mutilating their bodies, according to state media reports. The youngest victim was eight years old.

Some victims had their reproductive organs removed, the Beijing Youth Daily said when Gao was arrested in 2016. The court found Gao guilty of those crimes.

“To satisfy his perverted desire to dishonour and sully corpses, many of his female victims’ corpses were damaged and violated,” the court said in a post to its official Weibo social media account.

“The motives of the defendant’s crimes were despicable, his methods extremely cruel, the nature of the acts vile and the details of the crimes serious,” the court said.

Gao “poses a grave threat to society and an urgent danger to others and should be severely punished.”

The murders were carried out in Gansu and the neighbouring region of Inner Mongolia from 1988 to 2002.

Police had been hunting Gao for years.

“The suspect has a sexual perversion and hates women,” police said in 2004 when they linked the crimes for the first time and offered a reward of 200,000 yuan ($30,000) for information leading to an arrest.

“He’s reclusive and unsociable, but patient,” according to the police profiling at the time.

A lead in the case came when police collected and tested the DNA of one of Gao’s relatives over a separate minor crime, the China Daily said.

Police concluded the killer they had been hunting for 28 years was a relation, and Gao’s DNA matched the murderer’s, it added.

The original Jack the Ripper was a serial killer active in east London in the late Victorian era, who is widely believed to have murdered five women, mutilating several of them. Those killings have never been solved.

Gao was stripped of all of his assets and would not appeal the death sentence, the court said.

Popular US Pastor Indicted For Wire Fraud, Money Laundering

The head pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church, a 14,000-member megachurch in Houston, Texas, has been indicted for wire fraud and money laundering. He's also accused of stealing millions from his congregation.

Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell, 64, a longtime spiritual adviser to ex-President George W. Bush was on Thursday indicted in federal court on claims that he sold more than $1 million in worthless Chinese bonds to vulnerable and elderly investors, some of whom lost their life savings to the alleged scheme, The Washington Post reports.

Prosecutors said in a news release, that the federal grand jury in Shreveport, La., returned a 13-count indictment accusing the Rev. Kirbyjon H. Caldwell and financial planner Gregory Alan Smith of wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy.

The two men were also sued by the Securities and Exchange Commission in the same federal court on allegations that they violated financial laws.

According to court documents, Caldwell and 55-year-old Gregory raised nearly $3.4 million through a Chinese bond scheme to defraud approximately 29 investors from April 2013 to August 2014.

The two allegedly promised high rates of return sometimes up to 15 times the value.

Prosecutors said Caldwell used his influence as the pastor of the 16,000-member Village United Methodist Church to dupe investors into buying historical Chinese bonds issued decades ago.

Caldwell and Smith, who operates a Shreveport-based financial management firm, allegedly promised investors sky-high returns sometimes 15 times what they invested assuring them all along that they could be later sold for tens of millions of dollars.

In a statement by U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook, he said: “These bonds were issued by the former Republic of China prior to losing power to the communist government in 1949. They are not recognized by China’s current government and have no investment value.”

In the court documents from the SEC, it was alleged that Caldwell and Smith lured in 29 investors, most of them vulnerable and elderly, telling some they stood to rake in exorbitant returns in a matter of weeks.

Caldwell and Smith each face up to 20 years in prison on the wire fraud counts and 10 years for the money laundering counts. If found guilty, they also face a $1 million fine, restitution, forfeiture and five years of supervised release.

Jose Mourinho: Only Paul Pogba can explain his poor form

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted he is at a loss over Paul Pogba’s poor form.

Pogba has only started four of United’s last 11 games and was used as a substitute for both legs of the Champions League last-16 tie with Sevilla.

Addressing the media on Friday, Mourinho dismissed the idea that the 25-year-old was still being hampered by the hamstring injury he suffered in September.

“Ask him when you get a chance what he thinks about it.

“It’s nothing to do with his injury. His recovery was good,” Mourinho said.

Pogba missed 12 games after suffering a hamstring injury during a 3-0 win over Basel at Old Trafford.

He has scored just once since, although he has registered nine assists in the Premier League.

“I think he is very fine after the injury.

“It was a difficult injury, it was an injury that other players, other clubs, other medical assessments — they end in surgery, his option with the medical opinions was not to go to the surgery table and his recovery was really really good and I think he is more than fine in relation to his recovery from the injury which is an area sometimes where you have a recurrence. In his case, not at all,” Mourinho added.

Iran calls Saudi crown prince ‘delusional’ after prince warns of war

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has lashed out at Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, after the 32-year-old heir to the throne warned war with Tehran could be just 10 to 15 years away.

Bahram Qassemi warned bin Salman – widely known as MBS – “not to dice with death” and called on veteran Saudi officials to teach the “delusional novice” of the fate former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein endured after he challenged the “Iranian nation’s resolve”.

“This delusional novice, who is still too big for his boots, either does not know what war is, or has not studied history, or unfortunately has not talked to a venerable person,” Qassemi was quoted by Iranian media as saying.

Reciting a verse from a 13th-century poem, Qassemi added: “The ant seeking to grapple with an eagle is hastening to perish.”

He then asked Persian linguists in the Saudi royal family to translate the verse accuately for the Crown Prince.

Qassemi’s comments came after MBS said that Saudi Arabia could engage in a military confrontation against Iran if tougher international sanctions were not imposed against the Islamic Republic.

“We must achieve this in order to avoid a military conflict, if we fail to do this, we will probably have a war with Iran in 10-15 years,” MBS told The Wall Street Journal.

Saudi Arabia has expressed alarm at what it views as creeping Iranian influence in the region and has stepped up its efforts to contain what it considers Iran’s expansion through proxy conflicts and direct military engagement in Yemen.

The kingdom has been a staunch critic of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, which it says will alleviate Iran’s economic woes and allow it to prop up affiliates like Hezbollah.

Saudi authorities have repeatedly commended US President Donald Trump’s tough stance on the landmark agreement.

Mathieu Flamini: I do not have €30billion in my bank account

Former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has been forced to deny that he is a multi-billionaire.

Flamini, who recently signed for Getafe as a free agent, was forced to make the statement following rumours surrounding his finances.

The Frenchman is the co-owner of company GF Biochemicals, who are manufacturers of a substitute for oil.

“It is important to rectify things, contrary to what I read, I do not have €30billion in my bank account.

“This sum does not correspond to the valuation of my company GF Biochemicals, in fact, it is the total value of the market that we want to attack with the new technologies that we have developed in recent years.

“There was a misunderstanding, it is as if we had given only one restaurant the value of the entire catering market in France,” he told L’Equipe.

Cambridge Analytica interfered in Nigeria’s infamous 2007 election

The parent company of Cambridge Analytica interfered in Nigeria’s 2007 elections, regarded as the worst election till date, which the late President Umaru Yar’Adua also deplored as unfair and his successor Goodluck Jonathan described as a huge embarrassment.

Electoral commission head Maurice Iwu declared Yar’Adua of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) the winner with 24.6 million votes, far ahead of his closest rival, Muhammadu Buhari, with 6.6 million.

Then candidate Muhammadu Buhari challenged the ‘blatantly rigged’ election in the court, with the judges arriving at a split verdict. Buhari also called for the impeachment of President Olusegun Obasanjo, who appeared to have organised the charade in cahoot with Iwu.

The BBC reported today that the parent of the infamous company, SCL Elections boasted about interfering in foreign elections, according to documents seen by the news organisation.

The BBC said the company claimed in its brochure that it organised rallies in Nigeria to weaken support for the opposition in 2007.

The brochure outlines how SCL Elections had apparently organised “anti-election rallies” to dissuade opposition supporters from voting in the Nigerian presidential election in 2007.

The 2007 election was described by EU monitors as one of the least credible they had observed.

Cambridge Analytica is embroiled in a storm over claims it exploited the data of millions of Facebook users. The company was also hired by the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 elections.

The UK Foreign Office said it was unaware of this alleged activity before SCL was awarded British government contracts in 2008.

Cambridge Analytica says it is looking into the allegations about SCL.

In the document, SCL Elections claimed potential clients could contact the company through “any British High Commission or Embassy”.

It also claims SCL received “List X” accreditation from the UK’s Ministry of Defence which provided “Government endorsed clearance to handle information protectively marked as ‘confidential’ and above”.

The document claims SCL Elections deliberately exploited ethnic tensions in Latvia in the 2006 national elections in order to help their client.

SCL also claims that ahead of the elections in Trinidad and Tobago in 2010, it orchestrated an “ambitious campaign of political graffiti” that “ostensibly came from the youth” so the client party could “claim credit for listening to a ‘united youth’”.

Most of the examples detailed in the brochure took place before the British government entered into at least six contracts with SCL.

The former Labour Foreign Office Minister and Cabinet minister Lord Hain has tabled a written question in the House of Lords on Monday for urgent clarification on the matter of Embassy endorsement.

He told the BBC’s Sunday Politics show that the SCL case was “lifting the lid on a potential horror story” of other companies using data to manipulate voters.

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed SLC were given a provisional List X accreditation but had not had it since 2013.

A Foreign Office spokesperson said: “It is not now nor ever has been the case that enquiries for SCL ‘can be directed through any British High Commission or Embassy’.”

“Our understanding is that, at the time of the signing of the contract for project work in 2008/9, the FCO was not aware of SCL’s reported activity during the 2006 Latvian election or 2007 Nigerian election.”

In a statement, the acting CEO of Cambridge Analytica, Dr Alexander Tayler, said “Cambridge Analytica was formed in 2013, out of a much older company called SCL Elections.

“We take the disturbing recent allegations of unethical practices in our non-US political business very seriously. The board has launched a full and independent investigation into SCL Elections’ past practices, and its findings will be made available in due course.”

Christian Youths Demand Immediate Release Of Leah

The southern Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) yesterday pleaded with the Federal Government and the security agencies to adopt all necessary measures to ensure the  immediate release of Leah Sharibu from Boko Haram’s captivity.

Sharibu was abducted along with  110 other female pupils of a secondary school in Dapchi, Yobe State, last month.

But while the other abductees were released by the terror sect, Sharibu was not, because she refused to renounce her Christian faith.

President of Southern YOWICAN, Mr. Oluchukwu Nnabugwu, said yesterday in a statement that “religion is a personal decision and should not be a determining factor for the safety  of anyone in the country as being imposed by the Islamic group, Boko Haram.”

He enjoined the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to demand the release of the names of the five girls that reportedly died in captivity, adding that compensation should be paid to the bereaved parents.

Barrister Nnabugwu also condemned what he called politicization of the abduction and release of the innocent Dapchi schoolgirls, calling on the Federal Government to set up a high power judicial panel to investigate the abduction of the schoolgirls with a view to unmasking those behind the heinous crime and make them face the full wrath of the law.

He urged all Christians to pray for the safety of  Sharibu while praying for a “miraculous shake up in Boko Haram camps  that will truly decimate their terrorist activities.”

I'm Not Ready For Marriage, Sean Tizzle Speaks

Despite becoming a father last year, Nigerian singer, Morihanfen Oluwaseun, better known as Sean Tizzle, has said he is not thinking of marriage anytime soon.

In an encounter with Saturday Beats, he said there were many things he would still like to do before getting married.

He stated, “For me, marriage is not about money or age. I have to take my time; it is an individual matter.  Why I am not ready for marriage might not be good for you or others, but it is my personal decision. When the time is right, I will take the step. As for now, I am not ready for marriage.”

Since becoming a father, according to the singer, it feels like he is living for a reason.

“With the birth of my daughter, Ayomide, I feel like I am living for a reason now. Now, I feel the need to be more focused and responsible; being a father is actually a sweet experience. But it doesn’t mean it is okay to have a kid when you are not ready for the responsibility that comes with it.”

God Has Protected Me From Sexual Harassment In Nollywood- Rachael Okonkwo

While most of her colleagues often lament about their sexual harassment ordeals in the hands film producers, Rachael Okonkwo, who’s better known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka, is of different opinion.

The beautiful actress claims that she has not really experienced sexual harassment in the movie industry because God has always been taking care of her.

“I have not really encountered sexual harassment. God has always been taking care of that for me. To God be all the glory. And again, I’m still the same old me, fame hasn’t deprived me of anything. I don’t allow my celebrity status get into my head,” she said.

The light-skinned script interpreter, who goes extra mile to put smiles on the faces of children through her Easter Carnival, noted that all is set for this year’s edition slated to hold in her hometown in Enugu State.

“The carnival is a way of giving back to the society after all that God has done for me. It’s a big carnival where we have not less than 20,000 children in attendance. It is happening at Government Field, Nsukka, and this year’s edition promises to be the best ever. Everything is going to be double double, as the popular saying goes.

The next one is likely going to be in Lagos,” she assured.

Haddish Banned From Revealing Who Bit Beyonce

The mystery of who bit Beyonce may one day be unraveled.

But Tiffany Haddish, who publicly revealed the bite had happened, will not be the one to disclose the identity of the perpetrator.

The comedienne and Girls Trip actress, 38, went live on Instagram and indicated she had singed a Nondisclosure Agreement preventing her from giving the name.

(Earlier this week, it was reported that Haddish had told friends privately that Sanaa Lathan was the culprit. The Love & Basketball actress has publicly denied she was responsible, tweeting: 'Y'all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyoncé and if I did it would've been a love bite.')

'Y'all need to stop asking me about this Beyonce stuff because NDAs are real. I'm not saying nothing else,' Haddish said near the end of the video on Wednesday, according to E!.

Tiffany set off this biting furor when she gave an interview to GQ and dished about a party she attended in December, where Beyonce introduced herself to her.

Confided Tiffany: 'There was this actress there that's just, like, doing the mostest,' specifically in the sense that 'She bit Beyonce in the face.'

As the evening wound down, 'I said to Beyonce: "Did she really bite you?" She was like: "Yeah." I was like: "She gonna get her a** beat tonight."'

Beyonce, however, 'was like: "Tiffany, no. Don't do that. That b**** is on drugs. She not even drunk. The b**** is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill."'

On her Instagram Live feed, Tiffany vamped for a while, doing a bit where she misled viewers into thinking she would name the biter.

'You wanna know who bit Beyonce? I'm gonna just tell you all. And this is the last time I'm talking about it. I ain't going to say nothing else about it. Let me sip some of my tea. I'm going to tell you who did it then I'm never talking about it again because, really, it's done.'

She plowed ahead: 'People should be focusing on the real issues at hand, like did you do your taxes? Because taxes is due real soon. Can your children - do they know how to read and write? Have you been working with them on their reading and their writing? Is your house clean? That's what we need to be focusing on,' she said.

'But y'all wanna know. Everybody's going crazy about who bit Beyoncé. I'm going to tell you so this can just be done with.'

The punchline was: 'It was Stormy Daniels. Pay attention to what's really going on! That's not real news. Who bit Beyonce is not real news!'

Stormy Daniels is the porn star who has publicly claimed on numerous occasions - including on 60 Minutes last weekend - that she had sex with Donald Trump.

Tiffany said: 'Stormy Daniels bit Beyonce. She's an actress. She also works with the president, as I sip my tea (my water tea).'

In response to viewer interest in the story, she said: 'Why is who bit Beyonce global news? They didn't even, like, take a chunk out of her face. It's not even that serious.'

Though Tiffany will not talk, the public can still hold on to hope that the biter will eventually become known - Chrissy Teigen has tweeted that she knows who bit Beyonce, and she has not as yet said she signed a Nondisclosure Agreement.

Russia: London Aeroflot plane search ‘latest provocation’

Russia claims UK authorities searched one of their planes at a London airport in what they called the “latest provocation”.

The Metropolitan police denied the force had inspected an airbus that had landed at Heathrow having departed from Moscow.

It said: “We are aware of a story circulating on social media. Please be advised that Metropolitan Police are not conducting a search of an Airbus inbound from Moscow at Heathrow.”

Russia’s foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said British authorities did not state a reason for the search of the Aeroflot plane, which she called “the latest provocation.”

She claims the jet was searched at a London airport.

The news comes as Russia continues to expel foreign diplomats in a tit-for-tat response to countries across the world sending home Russian diplomats in solidarity with Britain following the nerve agent attack in Salisbury.

Russia faces mass expulsions of its diplomatic staff around the world, with more than 150 sent back from 25 countries, and NATO.

Britain’s ambassador to Russia was been summoned to the country’s foreign ministry for talks – as were ambassadors from other nations, including Germany, Italy, Poland and France.

Laurie Bristow confirmed the UK had been given one month to cut its diplomatic mission to Russia to the same size as the Russian mission to Britain.

He said: “It is important to remember why this crisis has arisen in the first place.

“It’s the use of a chemical weapon on the streets of the United Kingdom that has threatened the lives of a number of people in my country. We asked certain questions of the Russian state and have not received adequate answers.”

Ms Skripal is understood to be conscious and talking having been poisoned with novichok while visiting her father in Salisbury.

Police are treating the attack as attempted murder.

Mr Skripal, a former Russian spy, has been in a critical condition since 4 March.

US judge refuses to step down in Bill Cosby sex case

The judge presiding over Bill Cosby’s retrial for alleged molestation on Friday quashed defense demands that he step down for purported bias because his wife works with sexual assault victims.

Judge Steven O’Neill, in Pennsylvania, denied the request in a written order after reportedly telling a pre-trial hearing Thursday that there was no evidence of bias and his wife was an “independent woman.”

The bid had been another attempt from Cosby’s defense team, headed by Tom Mesereau, to substantially delay the retrial for alleged sexual assault.

Mesereau is the celebrity Los Angeles lawyer who got Michael Jackson acquitted of child molestation in 2005.

The defense had claimed “a clear appearance of partiality” because Deborah O’Neill coordinates a sexual trauma team at the University of Pennsylvania, donated to an activist group that had targeted Cosby, and wrote a dissertation on acquaintance rape.

Jury selection is now due to begin in Norristown on Monday with opening statements expected to begin April 9 at the earliest. O’Neill has already presided over the case for two years.

He was forced to declare a mistrial last June when the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict against the comedy legend on three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

The 2017 trial irrevocably damaged the once-towering icon of US popular culture, loved by millions as “America’s Dad” and best known for his seminal role as a father and obstetrician on hit 1984-92 TV series “The Cosby Show.”

The 80-year-old, once a pioneering African-American entertainer, is accused of drugging and molesting a former university basketball official at his Philadelphia home in 2004. He says their relations were consensual.

Around 60 women have publicly accused the Emmy-winning actor of being a serial sexual predator, but most of the alleged abuse happened too long ago to prosecute, putting him in the dock in connection with only one of the alleged victims.

Now frail and isolated, he risks spending the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

Zamfara killings: Emir of Anka mulls UN intervention

The Emir of Anka in Zamfara, Alhaji Attahiru Ahmad, has threatened to seek the United Nations (UN’s) intervention to end the protracted attacks on his domain by gunmen and insurgents.

The first class traditional ruler made this known in his palace when the Gov. Abdulazeez Yari of the state paid a condolence visit on Friday.

The emir expressed shock that in less than a week after President Muhammadu Buhari visited the state and charged security agents to brace up and end all forms of insecurity, insurgents still carried out mass killings.

He said he had lost confidence in the ability and commitment of the security personnel because they had failed in the discharge of their obligations to provide security to the lives and property of the law abiding residents in his domain on different occasions.

According to him, the only hope for the state is to seek the assistance of UN or African Union (AU) in fighting the insurgency in the state.

He alleged that corruption among the security agencies and judiciary was the factor fuelling the security problems in the state, saying he will make available list of all identified corrupt security personnel and judges to the state as soon as it would be possible.

He stressed the need to secure permanent base for security agencies to protect the areas under constant attacks by the gunmen.

Earlier, Yari expressed regret over the incessant attacks, urging the security agencies to intensify their efforts at restoring normalcy in the affected areas.

He therefore urged the security agents to apprehend all persons in possession of weapons henceforth to reduce the attacks.

Aisha Wakil: Women use sand, ashes in place of sanitary pad

Boko Haram insurgency has made sanitary pad unavailable to many women in troubled Borno State, the Founder of Complete Care and Aid Foundation, Hajiya Aisha Wakil, has lamented.

Wakil, popularly called Mama Boko Haram because of her advocacy for peace and amnesty, said many women victims of insurgency now resort to sand and ashes in place of sanitary pad during their monthly menstrual cycle.

Wakil, who recently paid an advocacy visit to Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi, said the Boko Haram insurgency had greatly affected the North East region, arguing that it had adversely affected women and children more.

She said: “One of the effects of insurgency is that women and girls are using sand and ashes in place of sanitary pad for their menses and this is unhygienic and unhealthy for women and girls.”

She lamented that: “Menstrual pad is a luxury for poor women in Borno.” She added that: “Strange as it may sound but poor women and girls in community and IDP camps are still using rags filled with sand, or ashes as an alternative for sanitary napkins during their menstrual period, thus exposing themselves more to vaginal infections.”

Wakil, in a statement by Prince Lawal Shoyode, the Country Director, Complete Care and Aid Foundation, was said to have been invited by Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, to promote activities lined up for the proposed fund raising and office commissioning of the Foundation.

The Foundation team was received by the Wali of Kano, who said he was a police commissioner in the old Gongola State, lamented that insurgency had drawn the North East region back and that the assistance of everyone was needed to revive the region.

He said the people of Kano were ready to offer their assistance to the victims of insurgency in the North East.

Earlier, Wakil had solicited for the intervention of the Emir of Kano in bringing back lasting peace in Borno State and the rest of the North East, adding that some Boko Haram faction were ready to drop their guns.

She told the representative of the Emir that the commissioning of the NGO office and fund raising for its programmes was slated for 28th of April, 2018.

Ex-England skipper Ray Wilkins suffers heart attack

Former England, Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder Ray Wilkins is critically ill after suffering a heart attack.

The 61-year-old is in intensive care at a London hospital after collapsing at his home on Wednesday.

The world of football has been sending their thoughts to the former England captain.

Former Chelsea player Frank Lampard said all his thoughts were with “an absolute gentleman”, while Wilkins’ former club QPR also issued their support on Twitter.

Wilkins is a regular pundit on Sky Sports News. On Saturday, his broadcast colleagues at SSN said: “All our thoughts and strength are with Ray and his family at this difficult time.”

Wilkins made 84 England appearances, scoring three goals, and represented his country in two World Cups in 1982 and 1986.

He also played for AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Rangers and Queens Park Rangers in his career before retiring in 1997.

He was appointed as Fulham boss in 1997 before spells as a coach with Chelsea and Watford preceded a stint as assistant manager to Dennis Wise at Millwall.

Wilkins then served as assistant coach to Peter Taylor in the England Under-21 setup before returning to Chelsea, firstly as assistant first-team coach to Luiz Felipe Scolari, then as assistant manager under Carlo Ancelotti, during which time the club won the Premier League and FA Cup double.

More recently, he had a spell as the head coach of the Jordanian national team and served as assistant to Tim Sherwood at Aston Villa before they left the club in October 2015.
