Phillies outfielder Odúbel Herrera placed on leave following domestic violence allegations
Odúbel Herrera was arrested Monday night and charged with simple assault.
The alleged victim was his 20-year-old girlfriend. The Phillies informed the league about the incident, and the MLB responded by placing Herrera on administrative leave.
