A UAE resident has been deported after 'celebrating' the horrific New Zealand shootings, which left 50 people dead.
The resident, an employee for Transguard, set-up a fake profile on Facebook to praise the attacks, according to reports. Transguard Group, the largest manpower suppliers in the UAE, have distanced themselves from the ex-employee, announcing they have 'a zero tolerance policy for the inappropriate use of social media.'
The group launched an investigation when the posts went live, the man was immediately fired and handed over to authorities. He has since been deported.
New Zealand and the world are still reeling after senseless shootings at two mosques in Christchurch tragically left 50 people dead and many more injured. The New Zealand Prime Minister has taken an admirable approach, immediately tightening gun control laws and refusing to say the name of the shooter, therefore denying him of the notoriety he craves.
