Guests have been sharing a glimpse inside the lavish pre-wedding celebrations of the daughter of India's richest man ahead of today's nuptials.

Business mogul Mukesh Ambani, 61, who has an estimated fortune of $41.5 billion (£33.1 billion), has decorated his towering 27-storey Mumbai home as he prepares to host hundreds of guests at the marriage of his daughter Isha Ambani, 27, on Wednesday. Hillary Clinton and Beyonce, who performed a private show, along with her parents were pictured at pre-wedding events as elaborate fairy lights lit up the street outside the billionaire's home on Tuesday.

Yale graduate Miss Ambani is tying the knot with 33-year-old real estate mogul Anand Piramal, a childhood friend and the son of another uber-wealthy businessman, in a wedding that is thought to cost $100million (£74.9million), according to Bloomberg. Other estimates put the cost at $15million (£12million). The two days of pre-wedding events were held in the northwestern city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, where VIPs like Hillary Clinton, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas gathered at a historic palace and five-star resorts for brunches, concerts and discos.

Beyoncé was flown in especially for the a 45-minute private concert, which saw her make several costume changes and sing hit songs Perfect and Crazy In Love. Anything for his little girl! Superstar entertainment: Guests were treated to a performance by Beyonce as part of the traditional musical night kicking off the days of celebration. The singer, who flew in especially for the event, was reportedly paid $6million (£4.8million) for a previous private concert. She shared the above snap to Instagram
As per Indian tradition, the party kicked off with the Sangeet, which typically sees the bride, groom and their families come together to sing and dance in stage performances celebrating their unions
