Tamar Braxton breaks her silence on divorcing Vincent Herbert: Read her statement

On Thursday, it was reported that after nearly nine years of marriage Tamar Braxton filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert.  Now the reality star and singer is speaking out via her rep.

Tamar's rep tells People.com, “At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert. Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”
Rumors of marital issues have been swirling for over a year, especially after police were called to an Atlanta hotel because Vincent allegedly bit Tamar in August of 2016. According to TMZ, Tamar officially filed for divorce Monday, October 24, in Los Angeles County.
