The U.S. has stopped issuing visas in Cuba indefinitely and strongly warned Americans against traveling to the island nation, where more than half of U.S. diplomatic personnel have been ordered to leave following “specific attacks,” the Associated Press reported.
The announcement on the changes is expected to come Friday after at least 21 diplomats and their families suffered hearing loss and traumatic brain injuries while in their residences and Havana hotels, as part of what is suspected to be a sonic attack.
